Can you work out the answer to Mathemagician's problem? You must say how you got your answer! There are 64 elephants on the school field. Along came another 23 elephants. How many are there now?

I think it is 87 because 60 tens plus 4 ones plus 20 tens 3 ones = 87

I think it is 87 because 60 tens plus 4 ones plus 20 tens 3 ones = 87
I worked it out because 60 plus 20 is 80 and 3 plus 4 is 7 so 80 plus 7 is 87.
I thing it is 87 because 60 + 20 = 80 and 3+4= 7 so 80 + 7= 87.
I think it is 87 because 6 Tens + 4 Ones plus 2 Tens + 3 Ones = 87
It is 87, because 60, plass 20 is 80 plass 3 plass 4 equals 87!
I think it is 87 because 60+ 20 = 80 and 4+3=7 so 80 = 7=87.
60+20 equals 80 4+3 equals 7 80+7 equals 87.
