I used a number line to answer the sum.
So the sum is 134-86
134-4=130
130-10=120
120-10=110
110-10=100
100-10=90
90-4=86
so I had 4 tens and two fours then it equals 48.
86 takeaway 52 is 34. 134 takeaway 34 is 100. 100 takeaway 52 is 48.
48 is it.
